| • What is “a hot spot”? |

A hot spot is what we call a wireless network, located in a public place, and offers a connect to the internet simply and comfortably using a laptop. On Smartnet’s "Hot Spots", the connection doesn’t require changing the definitions on your PC. Examples of "Hot Spots": coffee houses, hotels, convention centers, airports etc.

| • What is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP)? |
|
A Wireless Internet Service Provider enables the connection of users to the internet through local wireless networks, mainly with the common 802.11 technology. The WISP is responsible for the quality of service provided. Smartnet is a leading and highly advanced wireless internet supplier in Israel and in Europe.

| • What do I need in order to connect to the service? |
|
In order to connect to the service, you will need a laptop or a handheld computer with a standard internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox) and a wireless network card. If you don’t own a built-in wireless network card, you can borrow a connection kit for a deposit fee at the hot spot (not available in all "Hot Spots") or purchase a wireless Wi-Fi 802.11b card in any computer store. You also need to make sure the card identifies the hot spot you are at.

| • Do you have a solution for me, if I don’t own a laptop? |
|
Laptop owners can maximize the use of Smartnet’s wireless network. However, even if you don’t own a laptop, you can easily enjoy internet connection via internet rooms or “kiosk” work-stations operated in some of our locations.

| • What is a connection kit? |
|
In some of our "Hot Spots", you will be able to lend connection kits as part of our service if you don’t own a wireless network card. You can receive such a connection kit (for a deposit only) from the representative at the place of business or the hot spot you are at. Our skilled technicians or the hot spot team will help you when needed. The card is then connected to the Lan Port and the USB connection. (No software download is needed). The kit operates only on the Smartnet network.

| • How do I connect to the internet? |
|
After connecting to the Smartnet network, you have to open the internet browser. The default page you will connect to is your “access page”. On this landing page you can choose your preferable payment option, e.g.: purchasing a user name from the representative at the place of business, credit card charge, purchase via roaming partners or charging the room in hotels (not all the above options are available at all "Hot Spots").

| • What is Roaming? |
|
Roaming is a process which enables usage of the same user name and password at different locations, even if they may be operated by different providers, through collaboration agreements among various WISP’s around the world.

| • What is the reception range at the hot spot? |
|
Each hot spot covers as many areas as possible in order to provide a convenient and high quality connection. To find out the coverage areas in “your” recent hot spot please call our support center or consult the team at the hot spot.

| • What are my payment options? |
|
There are four payment options*:
o Local payment at your hot spot. (for more details contact the hot spot team)
o Credit card payment.
o Payment through Roaming and cellular companies.
o Room charge
(*not all payment options are available at all spots.)

| • What should I do, if I have purchased a connection kit and haven’t used it? |
|
If you have purchased a connection kit from the team at the hot spot and did not use it, you should address the reception desk and ask for a refund. In any other case, please contact our support team at 1-800-36-00-63 and we will handle the refund for you.

| • What is the browsing speed offered? |
|
The wireless network at the "Hot Spots" enables broad-band connection. The band width set for each spot changes according to usage load utilization.

| • Can I use VPN? |
|
Yes. The smart service at Smartnet supports connection through most existing VPN programs such as Cisco, Microsoft, PPTP, CheckPoint and more. To find out whether we support your VPN program please call our support center at 1-800-36-00-63

| • Can I use your service with a Mac computer? |
|
Yes. Smartnet supports Mac users as well. Using an Airport card on your Mac will enable you to connect the internet and enjoy wireless internet surfing.

| • Is there credit card security? |
|
Smartnet provides its clients with strict information security according to BIT128 and SSL protocols. We are approved by COMODO, part of GTE Cyber Trust, in credit cards and 128 bit security. we also secure user name and password in all our systems. Both companies are well known in the field of security and are a built-in part of every Internet Explorer.

| • What is Bluetooth technology? |

Bluetooth is a short range wireless technology which was originally developed in order to replace cable usage between electronic appliances such as printers, headsets etc. This technology operates on 2.4 GHz frequency at ranges of 10-50 meters. Smartnet operates Bluetooth systems to send messages within some of its "Hot Spots".
